Today was a day of breaking in so many ways...
It began when we started to bring our water truck into Cite Soliel Haiti the poorest slum in the western hemisphere Most people have a perception of what poverty is and we come with preconceived thoughts and we have to be broken to see it to believe it. We see poverty when our western lense of vision is seen first hand by participation. Certainly its by sight... and then the sounds, smells and the tears that follow when the spirit touches our emotions that are now raw from being in the present
The next breaking is the heart for joy.. when we can see a landfill / dump and pile of rubble being changed by earth moving equipment that will eventually be the place where a Church and School will be built.
When the church is built it will be a place of breaking down of spiritual darkness... a school and education will be breaking down illiteracy.
Earth breaking transformation in so many ways.
